New Platform Features
Powerpoint Report Export Now Available
Dashboard visualizations can now be exported as a Powerpoint (.PPT file type). Users can click on the ellipsis at the top right corner of the dashboard and select “PPT” from the dropdown menu. This will open a modal allowing users to deselect specific charts and download them into a single PPT. Users can also individually export visualizations by clicking on the ellipsis at the top right corner of the chart and selecting PPT from the dropdown menu. Please note that this feature is not available for Tabular reports.
Platform Enhancements
Improved Rich Text Field
Users can now use the enhanced Rich Text field type, which has been considerably improved in terms of latency and performance. Kindly note that by default, the older version of Rich Text field is available. This can be enabled via Admin Panel by adding ENABLE_NEW_RTE inside the specialFeatures against the CUSTOM_UI_LABELS attribute within the Constance Config.
User Group Mention Exclusion
Certain user groups can now be excluded from being tagged in a comment thread within the comments pane in a workflow. This can be enabled via the Admin Panel by adding relevant user groups (separated by comma, with no space) against the GROUPS_EXCLUDED_FROM_TAGGING attribute within the Constance Config.
AND/OR Reporting Filters
Users can now create AND / OR filters in the reporting UI. This can be extended to build more complex filters like nested AND / OR. Clicking on + Append Query adds a filter at the same level, while clicking on + Append Group Query adds a nested filter. Users can select the operator AND or OR from the dropdown.
Threshold Percentage for Pie Chart Labels
Users now have the ability to establish a specified percentage threshold below which data labels in a pie chart will not be displayed. This will only be visible in the UI when the Show value labels option is toggled on.
Tabular Reporting Improvement
When generating tabular reports, users can now effortlessly select all desired attributes within Swimlanes attributes, Step attributes, and Step level by simply clicking on the convenient Select All option provided in the cascading menus of the user interface. This time-saving feature eliminates the need for users to manually add each field individually.
Impersonation Control
An additional permissions has been added for the impersonation feature. The new View As option will now be visible only if the user/group has been given the appropriate permissions to impersonate another user.
Studio Enhancements
Notification Configuration Improvements
When configuring email notifications, users can now:
- Include static email addresses in the To Emails field, along with the option to select from a dropdown list of fields. This enables users to specify recipients to whom mail replies should be directed, providing greater flexibility and control over email communication.
- Choose from mail, text and char fields in both the To Emails and the Reply To Field dropdown fields.
Required Field * Visibility
Required fields with lengthy names exceeding the view limit are now visually indicated by the addition of an asterisk * suffix. This helpful feature eliminates the need for users to open the field details for verification, allowing them to quickly identify the required fields at a glance.
Drawer Improvement
To enable a more seamless user experience, the Studio drawer now features a directional arrow attached at the top. When its open, clicking on the arrow will collapse it. When the drawer’s collapsed, clicking on the arrow will expand it.
